How It Works

Let's embark on your journey to a captivating smile with Brodsky Orthodontics. To begin, we'll need some basic information about you. Once we have that, it's time to showcase your beautiful smile through some photos.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

Step 1:

With your smartphone and a helper, take eight photos that mirror the examples given. The better the photo quality, the more we can discuss your orthodontic needs. Ensure each photo is clear and well-lit. Your new smile with Brodsky Orthodontics is just a click away!

Capturing the perfect tooth pic is all about the lighting and positioning. Here's a handy tip - ensure the room is well-lit for the best quality photos. Good lighting can make all the difference in highlighting the details of your teeth.
And here's a little trick to get the best shot - try retracting your cheeks away from your teeth while taking the photos. You can do this by holding your cheeks with two spoons. This might sound a bit unusual, but it works wonders in revealing your teeth fully for the photo.

Don't forget, it's always easier and more fun to get a friend or family member involved in the process. They can help you get the right angles and ensure you're capturing the best possible images. Remember, these photos are a crucial part of your journey to a perfect smile with Brodsky Orthodontics. So, let's make them count!

It's crucial to understand the implications of using email for communication, especially when it involves your health information. Here's what you need to know:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Email communication, while convenient, is not encrypted. This means that third parties may potentially access and read the information transmitted over the Internet. If you receive an email, it's possible that someone could access your email account and read it.

HIPAA, or the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, was established by the U.S. government in 1996 to provide privacy and security protections for health information. While the information stored on our computers is encrypted, most popular email services (like Hotmail®, Gmail®, Yahoo®) do not use encrypted email.
However, the federal government has provided guidance on email and HIPAA in their latest modification to the HIPAA act. The guidelines state that if a patient is aware of the risks of unencrypted email and consents to receive health information via email, a health entity may send that patient personal medical information via unencrypted email.

For more information, you can read the full guidelines here.
