Be Treated Like Family

Our team's committed to giving you a beautiful new smile and greeting you with a warm and friendly face.

the brodsky orthodontics team

Treatment Coordinator

I grew up in North Long Beach, and it’ll always be my home. I work hard to help our team provide the best care and customer service to families in our community. I love meeting new patients and showing them the ropes, and I’m always available to answer questions about procedures and appointments.

I also help our patients understand both their insurance benefits and the financial arrangements we have available. I keep busy with a number of hobbies, including reading, writing, roller skating, and even face painting! My favorite way to spend a day off is hanging out with my husband and our two boys.

Financial Coordinator

I’ve worked in the orthodontic field for more than 30 years and spent more than a decade at Brodsky Orthodontics. Our team is really special, and I look forward to coming to work every day because of them. We truly care about our patients, and it’s wonderful to work in an office where our patients are as happy to see us as we are to see them.

I feel like all my hard work pays off every time I see a patient’s beautiful new smile. I'm the proud mother of two handsome sons. My oldest is serving our country overseas in the military and my youngest is a student at CSULB.

Insurance Coordinator

I've worked in the dental field for almost 20 years, five of those at Brodsky Orthodontics. That experience allows me to work hard on behalf of our patients to successfully maximize any insurance benefits. In filing insurance claims on behalf of our patients, I’m helping to create healthy smiles for families in our community, and I love being part of that team effort.

Outside of the office, I love hanging out with my four kids. We all love being outdoors, and spend a lot of time hiking, camping, playing, and laughing together.

Scheduling Coordinator

I’ve been with Brodsky Orthodontics since 2016, and I love being part of the front lines when it comes to new patients. As a scheduling coordinator, I speak with all of our incoming patients as they schedule their first appointments.

I work hard to accommodate each patient’s busy schedule and enjoy being part of their journey to a straighter smile. When I’m not in the office, my kids are my main hobby. I stay busy with their soccer games, but also love crafting, baking, traveling, and just hanging out with my family and friends.

Patient Services

I’ve been with Brodsky Orthodontics for two years, and I look forward to many more years with this amazing team. I take a lot of pride in keeping a positive attitude, and my goal every day I come to work is to give our patients the best possible customer service.

From greeting each person with a smile to adopting a “can-do” attitude, it’s important to me that our patients and staff feel supported and valued by me. When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my family in Mexico. I also enjoy cooking and hanging out with my children.

Administrative Assistant

I’m one of the newer faces in the front office and I love providing great customer service to all our patients and helping families create beautiful smiles.  I value a good work ethic, honesty, and communication and I feel that’s what I bring to the team here at Brodsky Orthodontics.

After work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cats.  I would love to volunteer more and get involved with an organization that helps animals, especially cats.  On the weekends, my husband and I love to camp, hike, and go on bike rides.

Administrative Assistant

I’m the newest member of the team and I’m excited to be here! I’m a local, having grown up in Lakewood and attended Lakewood high school and Cerritos College. My multitasking skills will come in handy working in the front office of a busy orthodontist practice.

When I’m not working, I like to cook and bake. I also like doing makeup and even went to beauty school! I’m passionate about bringing awareness to the epilepsy community and have volunteered with the Epilepsy Foundation of greater L.A. since I was 13.

Orthodontic Assistant (RDA)

I grew up in Mexico City until I was 12, then came to the U.S. to continue my education. I started with Dr. Brodsky more than 20 years ago as an intern. I’ve loved working here, watching my career grow and my knowledge expand.

My favorite part of being an RDA is the joy on my patients’ faces when their braces come off and they get to see their new smile for the very first time. I have two daughters, Gwendolyn and Genevieve, and on my days off, we love going to the movies together.

Orthodontic Assistant (RDA) & Laboratory Services

I’ve been with Dr. Brodsky for 20 years, and plan to be here for 20 more. Although I originally studied child psychology at Cal Baptist, my calling in orthodontics actually began back when I had braces myself. After an orthodontic assistant explained how she’d gotten into her career, something stuck with me, and it was the path I eventually chose to take.

I love facing new challenges every day. That's what keeps me on my toes and gives me something to work towards. Outside of work, I love to get creative, whether it’s knitting, leather work, or creating jewelry. I bought a house recently and have really enjoyed relaxing in it with my daughter, watching Disney cartoons and learning about history.

Orthodontic Assistant

I was born in Ecuador but came to the United States in 1970 as an exchange student because I wanted to improve my English skills. I’ve been in the orthodontic field for nearly 30 years, and 11 of those with Brodsky Orthodontics.

I love our fun and professional working environment. I also love how our team is friendly and genuinely caring. Outside the office, I spend a lot of time with my beautiful grandchildren, Nolan and Ava. We enjoy watching and cheering for the Patriots and the Celtics (except when they play the Lakers, of course!)

Sterilization Coordinator & Laboratory Services

I've been in charge of sterilization for more than 12 years, and I also help make some of the appliances in the dental lab. I love this job very much and I truly enjoy the relaxed but professional atmosphere.

I live at home with my sister, Laura, who is an orthodontic assistant, her husband, and my amazing nieces. When I’m not at the office, I like to hang out with friends, go to the movie theater, and cook. I also love traveling all over the world with my cousins.

Orthodontic Assistant

My career started in Northern California, where I grew up, but I moved southward once I became engaged to my wonderful husband. I've worked as an orthodontic assistant for 11 years, and can’t wait to come to work each day.

I'm never tired of helping patients achieve a beautiful new smile, and I work hard daily to learn more and improve my skills. Outside the office, I spend most of my time with my sweet son and our two miniature chihuahuas. I played clarinet for almost 20 years in a Portuguese marching band, and still love to make music when I can.

Orthodontic Assistant (RDA)

I attended the University of the East College of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines before I joined Brodsky Orthodontics in November of 2014. I’ve loved dentistry since I was young, and I love seeing how happy my patients are when their braces are removed.

Outside of work, I love anything involving music, including dancing and singing. My husband and I like to explore locally and beyond, and we keep ourselves laughing by playing silly pranks on our family and friends.

Orthodontic Assistant (RDA)

My love for orthodontics began in the Philippines, where I grew up and studied dentistry at Manila Central University. I joined the Brodsky Orthodontics team in June of 2015, and I love helping our patients achieve the smile of their dreams.

Our team works hard to give our patients nothing but the best care and support. I enjoy cooking, baking cookies, spending time with my kids and my husband, and planning my dream trip to Europe.

Orthodontic Assistant (OA)

I'm a newer face to the team, and I've loved getting to know our staff and patients. I’m a huge believer that teamwork makes the dream work, and that’s part of why our practice is so successful.

When I’m not helping our doctors create beautiful smiles, I enjoy crafting, working towards my orthodontic assistant permit, and spending time with my children Athan, Jacob, and Mason, who are growing up entirely too fast!

Orthodontic Assistant

As an orthodontic assistant, the Golden Rule is very important to me: I always treat our patients the way I would want to be treated. That means providing respectful, skillful, and compassionate care.

I’m a people person and love meeting new patients! I’m also extremely patient, which can come in handy with patients who require a little extra TLC. When I’m not working, I love to watch Netflix and with my husband. I’m also a big sports fan!

Orthodontic Assistant

I’m new to the team at Brodsky Orthodontics, where I work as an Orthodontic Assistant.  I enjoy learning from the doctors and helping patients on their journey. For me I love being positive, a quote I live by “It’s a good day to have a good day.”  In my free time, I like being outdoors and spending time with my son.

Orthodontic Assistant in Training

I’m one of the newest members of the team joining in August 2020.   I work in the lab helping and making invisible retainers. You can also spot me helping with patient check-in’s and learning chart side procedures.

On my days off, I like to start the day with Yoga and a nice brunch.  I consider myself determined and passionate. I hope one day to provide quality dental care to low-income communities.

Orthodontic Assistant in Training

I’m one of the newest members of Brodsky Orthodontics.   I was brought on since the reopening of the practice due to COVID.   I’ve enjoyed helping patient management flow, evaluating patient COVID questionnaires and assisting in the dental lab.  I’m currently training to be an orthodontic assistant.

In my free time, I love cooking with my significant other and going on walks in my neighborhood. Before working here, I was a teacher assistant for three years in a bilingual classroom.  I consider myself very patient with children, a skill I like to take with me In my journey to become a dentist.
