We Offer the Best Options for Your Braces

It used to be that when someone got braces, they were fitted with a massive mouthful of metal. Those early forms of braces were often painful and quite noticeable.

Luckily, orthodontists have developed modern braces that are less painful and more aesthetically pleasing. Our team offers three different forms of braces to best suit their your needs.

metal braces

Miniature Metal Braces

Metal braces are the traditional type of braces that have been used for many decades, although they have changed a lot in size and shape in more recent years. Modern miniature metal braces/brackets, which are small in width and depth, are constructed of high-grade stainless steel.

These brackets are bonded to the front of each tooth and are connected by a wire. By changing the wire over the course of treatment, metal braces slowly reposition your teeth into proper alignment.

While they are more visible than other forms of braces, the metallic version comes with the option of multicolored bands, allowing you to have a customized and colorful smile.

lingual braces

InBrace

Inbrace is a new style of braces that hides behind your teeth and uses a memory wire to perfect your smile.

clear ceramic braces

Clear Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are similar to the metallic version in that they realign teeth using brackets attached directly to the front of the teeth. The main difference is that they're made of a clear, ceramic material which matches the color of teeth.

By using ceramic brackets, the braces become less visually noticeable, sparing braces-conscious patients the look of a metallic set of teeth. Due to the material, ceramic braces are more brittle and require more attention when cleaning and caring for them.

clear braces invisalign

Clear Aligners with Invisalign®

Invisalign clear aligners are the most advanced form of tooth alignment, providing you with an effective, comfortable, and less noticeable method of straightening their teeth. The aligners sit on top of your teeth and are worn 22 hours per day.

Your doctor digitally designs customized treatment programs for you, and every week or two you'll wear a new invisible aligner (with a different shape). This is ideal for teenagers or adults looking for a more inconspicuous way to straighten their teeth in a shorter period of time with the least amount of discomfort or food restrictions.

Our experienced, professional staff at Brodsky Orthodontics understand you have different orthodontic needs, even down to the type of braces you wear. For more information or to set up a consultation, please contact our office today.
