What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. This means you can smile more during treatment (as well as after). Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective since the late '90s.
More than 70 percent of orthodontists in the US and Canada are certified to treat with Invisalign, but only one percent of these orthodontists have as much experience as Drs. Charles and Joel Brodsky.
Why Would I Want Invisalign?
Not only are the aligners invisible, but they're also removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are no problem. They're also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
And no metal and wires usually mean you spend less time in the office getting adjustments. We offer online access to your account and you will get an email of your own virtual treatment plan when you start, so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
How Does Invisalign Work?
You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position our doctors prescribe.
You'll visit your doctors about once every six to eight weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 12-18 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from patient to patient.
Drs. Joel and Charles Brodsky work with Invisalign braces as well as other aesthetic orthodontic options such as ceramic braces and lingual braces.
Having been patients themselves, Drs. Joel and Charles Brodsky can truly say that Invisalign is a great treatment method and gets great results (just look at their smiles).
