Why an Orthodontist in Long Beach? Orthodontist vs. Dentist
An orthodontist is a dentist, but a dentist is not an Orthodontist. Not every dentist is qualified to be an orthodontist, even though every orthodontist starts as a dentist. Dr. Joel Brodsky, Dr. Charles Brodsky, and Dr. Jeffery Brumbaugh, like all orthodontists, continued their education for 2 or 3 additional years before receiving the necessary license and certification. Dr. Joel Brodsky, Dr. Charles Brodsky, and Dr. Jeffery Brumbaugh, like all orthodontists, has spent years studying nothing but how and why to move teeth. This includes what to do, how to plan, and how to perform the treatment plan that you need.
Why does it matter if you see Orthodontists In Long Beach?
Dentists receive basic orthodontic training so they can perform root canals, extract wisdom teeth, and treat young children who don’t need to see an orthodontist yet. Specialists receive additional training to give them the skills needed to deal with more complex orthodontic issues.
Seeing a specialist like your orthodontists in Long Beach may change your braces experience by:
- Providing more treatment options, with a variety of braces or therapies to choose from
- Having personal experience treating multiple cases that are similar to your unique concerns and anatomical characteristics.
- More efficient treatment and visits, because it’s the office’s main focus.
- Knowing that you’ll receive the best possible outcome on your treatment plan, especially if you have worse than usual bite discrepancies that need to be dealt with
- Being seen more quickly, as a family dentist will be focused on longer patient cases or emergencies throughout the day.
You may think it’s fine to have your orthodontic work done by your dentist, but convenience shouldn’t be a barrier to seeing a specialist. You’ll only need to stop by your Long Beach orthodontic offices every six to eight weeks.
And don’t let price be a problem either! Brodsky Orthodontics is proud to provide affordable treatment in the Long Beach area.
Testimonials from patients of your orthodontists in Long Beach
We have been very satisfied with the work Brodsky Orthodontics has done for both of our children. My daughter had an offset jaw, meaning that she needed jaw surgery to correct her bite. Dr. Brodsky walked us through the entire process from beginning to end and even connected us with a top-notch oral surgeon to perform the jaw surgery. My son has completed the braces phase and we just went for our retainer check to make sure that his teeth remain straight. Professional, thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable describe Brodsky Orthodontics. Thank you to both Dr. Brodskys and their amazing staff for all of their help giving both of my kids beautiful smiles!
We’ve been patients for over 4 years. The staff is always so nice and helpful. What I love the most is that you are seen at your appointment time, you don’t sit around waiting like in most offices. Definitely, the place to go for braces.
Excellent customer service. I would recommend Brodsky Orthodontics to anyone searching for great ortho work. The work I had done was very satisfying. The staff were very friendly, made me feel like family. Brodsky gets a 2 thumbs up.
